Oh, all I wanted was a white knight, with a good heart, soft touch, fast horse.’” These lyrics communicate the woes of many a modern day woman who still wishes that life were like a fairy tale even though she’s smart enough to know it isn’t. This wish doesn’t weaken her character, however, as she is also smart enough to be thankful for all the blessings she has in spite of all of life’s imperfections.

I have been incessantly dodging Brad all week. I just do not know what to tell him. I want to see how far the “new” me will take me. My outlook on life is so much more different that it was when we were together. My thinking and being has evolved so much since I am not constantly doing things with the ulterior motive to get an ex back. I am doing things for myself and really enjoying it. I like being accountable only to myself and no one else. I just wish the decision would come to me. Hasn’t it been long enough?

My son loves construction vehicles, so I am trying to design him a room that takes this into account. I want him to really love his room.
