Is zoo or outing suitable for her

Yesterday, we brought our daughter to the zoo, it was bad. 90% of the time, our attention was on taking care of baby girl and trying to pacify her because the weather was too hot. The trip was full of tension and it was not the least fun. So, I guess you do have to wait till they have a certain understanding prior to bring them for outing…
