Opposites attract
August 6th, 2008 . by adminThe theory is simple, opposites attract. The electrostatic process in the Friedrich Air Purifier is built upon that simple electron principal. When the air is drawn into the chamber it is first drawn through a pre-filter to remove all large particles such as hair and dust bunnies. Then as the air is drawn over the first plate any remaining particulate matter is given a positive charge. The subsequent plates contain negative charges and the particles are drawn right to them. Zap, the opposites attract and the charged particle is captured on the next plate. The air finally leaves the chamber via a carbon filter particle free.
