Omega-3 and Omega-6 are the essential building blocks of all human functions. Be warned that our diet of Omega-3 and 6 should be moderate and consist in equal parts, or be a ratio of 1:1. Many doctors think that our diets are already so high in Omega-6 that the Omega-3:Omega-6 ratio may be anywhere from 1:20 to 1:40. 

Some dietary sources of omega 3 are:

·flax seeds

·walnuts

·oily fish

·seal

 

You can also take Omega-3 supplements to increase your intake of Omega-3 without increasing Omega-6. The three types of Omega-3 supplements available today are:

 

·Flax oil

·Fish oil

·Seal oil
