Each day, scientists are learning more about the fish oil benefits for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.  In particular, there is a growing body of evidence that Omega-3 fatty acids help protect neurons from being damaged.  Even though fish oil does not contain Omega-3 fatty acids, it does include all three vital precursors.   Therefore, if you have a family history of Parkinson’s disease, or have it yourself, you may want to try taking fish oil.  While it is not a cure, it may slow the disease down for a bit.  In some cases, it  may mitigate other health conditions as well.
