Skydiving Incidents & Safety Lost Throwaway

January 7th, 2009 . by admin

Throw away in pocket this can be a scary experience, it’s one of those things that can catch you out as a beginner or as happened to me after more than 250 skydives.

I was on a high load doing a formation skydive dive (FS). I had checked the location of my throwaway both on the ground & again shortly before exit. The skydive went really well & we broke off at 4,500 feet, when I went in for the pull I could not locate the throwaway toggle. I quickly tried again still no toggle, a stupid thought flashed through my mind (you are going to look so stupid, feel the spandex pocket)

I grabbed my reserve handle & at the same time made a last attempt to locate the main toggle, only this time I felt for the spandex pocket instead of the toggle.

What the Bruins Have to Look Forward To

January 6th, 2009 . by admin

The hottest team in the NHL right now has got to be the Boston Bruins. As I write this, they are enjoying a lengthy 10-game winning streak that has put them at the top of the league, ahead of San Jose by 1 measly point.

Now, aside from being the superstar of the NHL Highlights, the Bruins can look forward to ten of their thirteen games in January being on home ice. This is a fantastic opportunity for the city of Boston, which recently celebrated the Celtics’ 19-game winning streak.

No matter how long the Bruins extend their streak, it’s a great time of year to get those fans behind them as they head into the playoffs.

Buy corntoss bags wholesale

December 26th, 2008 . by admin

When it comes to the game of corn toss I just cannot get enough.  I decided last sumer that I would make my own set to see if I could do it.  Not only could i do it, but I really enjoyed it.  I made that first set and thought that I would try and make more sets to see if I could make any money on the side.  That eventually turned into a part time job, and that turned into my full time job.  Today I make all the boards, and buy wholesale corntoss bags to go along with them.

I got her some easy golf instruction for the afternoon

December 22nd, 2008 . by admin

My wife and I were on vacation down in Florida last month. It was playoff time and all I wanted to do was watch the games on the big screen TV in the bar by the pool. All she wanted to do was anything but that. I offered her some easy golf instruction lessons at the driving range for the afternoon. She could do that for 45 minutes to an hour and then go to the spa for a nice relaxing massage and pedicure. She agreed and I knew that would buy me about 4 hours to watch at least one of the games and maybe the first half of the second one.

Many things need to be considered when figuring out what the best daily exercise routine is for you

December 11th, 2008 . by admin

Regardless of your age getting into better shape, physically speaking is always a good idea. Eating better is a good place to start but in order to maximize your efforts you will need to implement a daily exercise routine. Your particular routine will depend a great deal on your age and your present condition. If you are a bit older then you might now want to embark on a power lifting exercise plan. On the other hand, if you are considerably overweight, you might not want to try and run 10 miles on your first day exercising. Take it slow and be realistic, and you will undoubtedly be happy with your results over time.

Mental side of playing tennis is important

December 8th, 2008 . by admin

I love to play tennis. I have being playing tennis for the last 10 years. It is commonly thought that in order to succeed in tennis, your mental strength and your physical strength is equally important. Well, a best tennis racket that fit in your style of playing is also part o f the equation for succeeding in tennis. Tennis is more like a sport of one-on-one competition. Mental strength has to be exceeding high to win when approaching big points for the game. Most of the professional players will train their strength in the mental side of tennis and also the physical side of tennis.

GPS is a Golfer’s Best Friend!

December 4th, 2008 . by admin

I was looking at a consumer report for golf equipment and came across the Bushnell Yardage Pro GPS.  This device is lightweight, simple to use, and will help you measure distances with ease.

The Bushnell Yardage Pro review can be found at Bushnell Yardage Pro review. I would recommend anyone who is looking for the perfect Christmas present with the family golfer in mind, to check out this review.

This website also provides actual customer feedback so you can make the best informed decision about your purchase.  I was really impressed with the additional information provided.  I found out that this product is tournament legal, the price is listed on the review site, and even posts the return policy.

Where to find deals on tents

December 3rd, 2008 . by admin

Finding the best prices on products is a lot easier than it used to be with the Internet. But some principles are the same no matter how you are doing your actual shopping. If you buy something at full price that is cheap, you are probably getting a lower quality product. If you find something that is normally expensive that is on sale, you are probably going to get a better product for the same price as the full price item that is always cheap. If you are shopping for tents, look for a top of the line tent at a time when big sales are on!

Going To Tennis Matches To Support My Sister

December 2nd, 2008 . by admin

My sister plays tennis,  She is good, and I love to go see her matches.  I do not know much about the sport, I just enjoy watching my sister and cheering her on and watching her get so excited when a match is done.

I just got all of my Tennis Tickets for the next couple of matches.  I know that having the tickets in advance is important to me.  I keep them ready to go so that I remember the days that she plays.

Going to see my sister play is one of the best experiences that I have had.  I love to see her and to see how much she enjoys playing.  We go as a family to cheer her on and celebrate at every victory.

Horseback Riding in the Middle East

November 28th, 2008 . by admin

When I was young I went horseback riding in the Middle East, and while it was a memorable experience, it was not the most pleasurable. They don’t believe in using English saddles, or any saddles at all sometimes! They merely placed a blanket over the horse’s back for you to sit on. If I had realized then that it would be so painful, I might have thought twice about taking that trip. If you’re looking for a great riding experience, I recommend using a saddle, even if you think you do not want one.
