February 25th, 2009 . by admin

Are you looking for a natural and fashionable way to illuminate your property at night? One option is to use solar lights that collect energy from sunlight during the day and shine a soft, white glow all night. For a more dramatic and dependable light that is also more stylish, use the blomus orchos stainless steel miniature torches or garden torches. They look great around a garden, patio, or even a pool. Use them to entertain outdoors with class or just enjoy them yourself. They stand firmly in the ground, can be used with most oils, and have lids for easy extinguishing. The miniature torches are nearly 18 inches high and the garden torches are about 25 inches high.

How to stop divorce from affecting your pet

February 25th, 2009 . by admin

I didn’t know how much my cat loved my ex-husband until we split. She just wasn’t the same for a while afterwards. She’d mope about the house looking depressed and I didn’t know what to do about it. So I talked with my ex and we worked out a solution – Fluffy goes and stays with him two nights a week. She gets to spend time with us all and she gets a well deserved break from the children each week. Fluffy seems very satisfied with this agreement and is much happier now. If you want to know how to stop divorce affecting your pet takes a leaf out of our book – timeshare your cat!

The Santana Reclaimed Oak Collection is Lovely

February 23rd, 2009 . by admin

My husband and I are nearing retirement age and have begun building the home where we will spend the majority of our time.  We have worked very hard and saved very aggressively in order to enjoy our golden years together.  We bought a piece of land in the northeastern part of Arizona over twenty years ago when the price of land was very low.  We paid of the property if full a number of years ago and this is where we are building the house.  I am in the process of selecting the furnishings and have absolutely fallen in love with the Santana reclaimed oak collection.  It is rustic looking but finished beautifully.  These pieces will look perfect in our new log home.

Looking for Work in Fort Collins

February 22nd, 2009 . by admin

My parents live in Colorado. Growing up, we lived in Indiana, but when I went to college, they moved to Fort Collins because my Dad got a great job opportunity. I had never visited Colorado before they moved there, and I must say, I was impressed. The landscape was gorgeous and varied; compared, of course, to boring, flat as a pancake Indiana. When I graduated, they urged me to try to find work there, but I insisted on following my then-girlfriend to Michigan. That was a bust, so now I am looking for work there and browsing Internet ads for Cheap Apartments Fort Collins CO.

Caring for Your Playpen

February 21st, 2009 . by admin

Some people don’t know how to take care of their furniture.  I think they just grew up with their parents taking care of things, and then bought metal and plastic stuff that doesn’t need the kind of care that wood does.  Take playpens, for example.  You can get an unvarnished, unpainted playpen, and all you have to do is rub some lemon oil onto it once a month or so if your climate is dry.  Alternately, you could rub some all natural furniture wax in, and just polish it occasionally.  The key is to find natural ingredients, and to make sure it’s not linseed oil, which is mildly toxic.

Therapet Fresh Scent Dog Shampoo Review

February 21st, 2009 . by admin

Dog shampoo isn’t supposed to smell like an exotic floral bouquet, but Therapet’s Fresh Scent Shampoo makes you think of summer breezes in meadows! I love using Therapet Fresh Scent Dog Shampoo on my dog not only is it beautifully scented but  it also deep cleans even the most thickest of fur,  moisturizes, and leaves your dog’s coat shiny and beautiful!  Therapet Fresh Scent Shampoo works great by itself or as we have found works wonderful when paired with the Therapet Fresh Scent Conditioner! I really recommend it to my friends  because it is a really great shampoo to use! We loved it so much we ordered the bulk size which has saved us money!

Cleaning My Blender is Easy!

February 21st, 2009 . by admin

I love to find easier and more fun ways to clean up after a cooking project. Aside from my self cleaning oven , most of my appliances don’t really clean independently but the blenders come close. To wash out my stand blender I pour some liquid dish soap inside and fill half way with hot water. A quick run on low speed will build up suds and swish the hot soapy water around plenty. To clean my hand blender, I run the medium speed setting in a dishpan of hot sudsy water and immerse the blades to give them a good washing.

Buying a Custom Wood Gate

February 19th, 2009 . by admin

When you order your wooden gate, it will arrive all ready to install. You won’t have to do any sanding or putting the boards together. The gate will be assembled and all you have to do is paint or stain it. You won´t need any gate hardware at all. Although it is not essential that you paint or stain the gate, it is advisable to do so. This coating will help seal it against the weather. Even though redwood is resistant to rot and insect infestation, it needs to be painted or stained to protect it against water absorption and the UV damage from the sun’s rays.

Choosing a diamond ring for your loved one

February 17th, 2009 . by admin

What is the best way to choose a diamond ring for your girlfriend, wife or partner? It is always a tough one to answer. Ideally, you would simply show them the rings and your partner would choose the one she likes. But then that ruins the surprise, doesn’t it?

The best way to find out what style of diamond ring she (or he!) likes, is to look at the rings she already has, and to seek the advice of her friends and family. The first thing to establish is what kind of metal to choose for the diamond ring. White gold diamond rings are very popular these days, as are platinum rings. But you should easily be able to decide on your partner’s tastes by looking at her current jewellery. Is it predominantly silver in colour, or (yellow) gold?

The style of diamond setting preferred can be quite tricky. You may need the assistance of friends and family on this one. For some people, the bigger the diamond the better. For others, a more subtle style is preferred. Does she prefer a ring with shoulder stones? Princess cut? Emerald cut? The best idea would be to bring up a short list based on what you think she would like, and then ask her friends and family for advice on picking the winner.
