Brangelina

August 20th, 2008 . by admin

Brangelina is an interesting phenomenon among Hollywood celebrities. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were such a well-liked couple that it’s a bit odd that after Brad left Jennifer, he and Angelina Jolie were so quickly embraced as a couple as well. Perhaps Brad’s desire to become a father and Jennifer’s reluctance to become a mother, choosing career over family (during a Hollywood baby boom, no less!) drew sympathy away from Jennifer and toward Brad and Angelina, who was already an adoptive mother of two. The drama continues as Angelina has given birth to twins and Jennifer has been reported to be regretful of not yet having children of her own.

Adding the power of our unconscious mind

August 18th, 2008 . by admin

Adding the power of our unconscious mind can give an additional boost to the process of manifesting our preferred reality. Frequently the real "heart" of the matter is in our deepest feelings, desires and instincts. Indeed, one of the goals of meditation is the "mindful state," which is awareness of objects, mind-states, and physical states but not attachment to them. Buddhism puts a great emphasis on empirical understanding of the world. New Age Mindfulness as described by new age healers is watching things moment by moment, continuously. It is observing all phenomena - physical, mental or emotional - whatever is presently taking place in the mind. One just sits back and watches the show. Mindfulness is the observance of the basic nature of each passing phenomena. It is watching the thing arising and passing away.

It is difficult to play the darbuka?

August 17th, 2008 . by admin

My daughter really likes the idea of playing drums, and when she saw a belly dancing demonstration the other day with someone playing the darbuka she said that she wanted to learn how to play that drum. Is it really difficult to learn how to play the darbuka properly? I was thinking maybe I could get her one to play if they aren’t that expensive, and it would be nice if I could get her some lessons as well. She is old enough for something like that I think. Or would it make sense to get her a kids version and just let her bang on it?

Where Do I Find Designs

August 15th, 2008 . by admin

I will be getting my first tattoo in a week or so and I am looking for free tattoo designs. I am pretty sure that the place where I am going to get my tattoo will have some on display, but I am looking for other designs of traditional Japanese dragons, and I am not sure they are going to have what I am looking for. I am not sure about using an image from a book, because I don’t know that it will copy clear enough for them to use it. I am sure there are websites that will have what I need, I just haven’t found them yet.

Online interior design courses saved me

August 6th, 2008 . by admin

None of the local colleges in my area offer any type of interior design degree. I thought that my dream of becoming a designer was dead. Then a friend told me to look into online interior design courses and see what is available. I have some really smart friends! I was amazed to see that I could earn a bachelors degree in interior design online in about two years or so. It is a little expensive but I think the money I will save in gas will out weigh the extra costs of the classes. This is a dream come true!

Beautiful Lower Back Tattoos.

August 3rd, 2008 . by admin

I am a real fan of artwork and one form of art that I enjoy is tattooing. I think that a tattoo artist can produce some beautiful works of art and I have seen it. In fact I myself have several different pieces of artwork on different parts of my body as well. I am also thinking of getting another one. I have been looking at some lower back tattoos and I think that this is where I am going to get my next tattoo. I haven’t decided yet just what I want put there but it will come to me eventually.

Wall Art For My Kids Room?

July 30th, 2008 . by admin

My son wants to redo his theme for his room because he says that it looks to young for his age now. I guess the summer will do that to a kid. Anyway I think that is great but I have no clue where to get the kind of kids wall art that he wants. I guess if all else fails I can buy in from the internet. It is just that I usually like to see it in person before I buy it but this is such a small area I might have to change by ways for now.

Ethnic Instruments: Playing One Needs H-E-A-R-T

July 17th, 2008 . by admin

Playing music is not simply about beating your drums or plucking your harp. It’s more than that. Music is a way of living that most gurus consider themselves to be in. Learning to play any musical devise is as easy as one-two-three; but only if you have this in your frame of mind–passion & enthusiasm. Yes, learning to play ethnic instruments is not like any other class wherein you’re given inputs and then you simply breeze through the exams. This would imply that simply watching a know-how-to-play video on www.youtube.com wouldn’t make you a legend just yet. It really takes discipline, both in mind and soul, to really master the craft. As any guru would tell you, “become one with the instrument.” It’s in this manner that the greatest musicians of all time have immortalized their musical compositions down in history. In simple word, it’s all in the heart–all in the heart.

What if I have two left feet?

July 11th, 2008 . by admin

I am afraid that I am going to embarrass my fiance when we have to dance at the reception. I have two left feet and can never seem to pick up dance steps. A friend suggested that I take some wedding dance lessons, and I am wondering if they will be able to help me. I don’t have a lot of time since the wedding is coming up pretty soon and we are really busy dealing with all the details involved. Would wedding dance lessons be able to make me less likely to step all over my fiance’s feet and make a fool of myself?

Everglades Day Safari

July 9th, 2008 . by admin

Most people who have made the journey to Florida for their family vacation have spent time at all of the theme parks around the state. Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, and the Universal Resort are not the only things to see while on your Florida vacation, however. One of the attractions growing in popularity every year is the Everglades National Park as well as the tours that take you into its interior. One of the most well known tours is the Everglades Day Safari. The company has been in business for nearly twenty years, and the employees not only know about the Everglades, they care about conserving the area for future generations. The Day Safari that they take you on brings you to all of the different ecosystems within the Everglades: the mangroves, the cypress swamps, the prairie, and the pine savannah. You get to take an hour long airboat ride through the glade, something that you have likely seen on television and in movies as the iconic way of getting around the Everglades. You are also treated to a ninety minute boat ride through the mangroves, a nature walk, a wildlife drive, and even lunch that serves up a variety of tasty food.
