Mississippi memories
January 25th, 2008 . by adminI guess I was wrong on my last post, I should have said it was East Iowa Tourism that they claim is dead. But that isn’t so either. There are things to do all along the Mississippi. In fact this is the area where Tom Saywer grew up and we all know of his experiences with Indian Bob. His girlfriend liked to help him white wash fences in her spare time. Personally, I enjoy fishing the Mississippi, well that and watch the eagles. Now there is one magnificent bird. They soar high above the river and are fun to watch, especially when they sit on the edge of the ice and jump in after the fish.
