We expect our political leaders to take life seriously but sometimes we assume that they are so earnest that their lives must be sad and uninteresting. Just occasionally we get a glimse of the natural wit that lurks beneath the surface and in the midst of a hectic political campaign Barak Obama took time out for a charity dinner where he was able to relax and  show us his more light hearted and funny side.

It’s a good thing that we get the chance to see these political people as real people with honest to goodness funny side. It’s good to know that obama can make us laugh. Just so long as they never make a joke about going to war and the generals take it as a serious order.
