Anniversary

May 31st, 2008 . by admin

For our 50th wedding anniversary my husband took me on a great trip to Africa. We took an incredible journey through some great un-touristy locations and saw some animals that were truly exotic. I highly recommend some of the expeditions that get you off the beaten path and experience the great outdoors. No worries about last minute hotel bookings because your room is a tent at the end of the day. We really roughed it but it was a great way to spend such a monumental anniversary. Some of our friends could not believe that we survived such a rough trip but we had a marvelous time.

The wild side of nerds.

May 31st, 2008 . by admin

I recently met a friend of mine who was an avid reader in school and was quite a book worm. People saw him as a nerd and a geeky guy who always got the better grades.

Who could have ever thought that one day, I would find him with a biker gang filled up with fairy tattoos and what not. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Well, it just turns out that this was just a bunch of nerdy guys who wanted to act wild for a day. They had tattoos on their body and had their hair all done up in various styles. The tattoos were fake and would be on their bodies as long as they wanted . All they needed to wipe off the tattoos was to take a bath and they would return to their own nerdy selves.

Wow! These nerds are really clever guys who know how to have fun. Wouldnt it be good if you could also do this sort of a thing for one day. Just go wild .

Adding a Recurring Billing Payment Gateway to Your Website

May 31st, 2008 . by admin

When you own a website and have goods to sell you need to be able to set up a recurring billing payment gateway for your customers. There are a lot of internet businesses that use this system. Most internet businesses sell memberships to their websites. These memberships are usually billed on a monthly or yearly basis. Instead of having to bill the member each month a website owner or business owner can set up the recurring billing which will automatically withdraw funds from the members account when due. This saves a webmaster valuable time and allows him the opportunity of using his time elsewhere.

May 31st, 2008 . by admin

When we watch our kids grow up we start to see just how independent our kids become, especially as they reach their teenage years. We could all use some tips for responsible teenagers. Without guidance they can become reckless and fall into the wrong kinds of groups. When I was a kid my parents taught me the value of money and business. I found an interest in earning money and it kept me responsible. I learned how to do some fun things that used my creativity and talents along with learning how the world worked. This helped me far into my adult years and I realized early how important an education was!

best snake for first time snake owner

May 30th, 2008 . by admin

There is a huge variety of snakes that a pet snake enthusiast can get and they come in just about every color under the rainbow – including snakes called brazilian rainbow boas (they’re not actually rainbow colored – they’re a reddish orange with black spots and a purple iridescence.)  However, if you’re looking for a snake that is safe to be around children or just a snake that is good for a beginner, then I’d recommend you take the route of the ball python.  Not only are they quite affordable, they’re also easy to care for, and quite tame meaning they can be handled regularly and are unlikely to ever bite you or anyone handling it.

Healthy Skin

May 30th, 2008 . by admin

Want to get your skin into tip top shape?  Here are a few ways how.

Nourish your skin with moisturizing lotions and creams.  This can prevent dryness and give your skin a healthy glow.  Ensure you are using quality products and also, that you are using them properly.  To see efficient results, most skin care products need to be used twice a day.  This can include once in the morning and once in the evening.

Drink more water!  Water is good for your health and your skin!  Drinking the recommended eight glasses of water a day can help improve your skin’s texture and overall appearance.

Avoid sun damage.  Stay away from tanning salons and prevent sun burn.  Harmful UV rays can cause permanent damage to skin, cause peeling or blistering, cause discoloration, and put you at a higher risk for certain types of skin cancer.

The internet candy store.

May 30th, 2008 . by admin

If people are pursuing the net mainly for information then that makes information the candy in the candy store so to speak right? You will want to, if you plan to keep your “candy shop” thriving to stock your website with lots of candy everyone wants. If your candy stinks people won’t buy it and won’t tell a friend (other than to say don’t go there). Although the candy in this store is free and the ads are what make the money you want to offer an assortment of good information to your guests so they will click the ads. The keywords on your page are vital for getting the right ads on your page using Adsense. Once you have your page SEO optimized then you need to ask yourself “how can I increase my website traffic” because it does no good to have candy with nobody there to try it right? I hope I didn’t lose you in my metaphors!

I’ve come to depend on my ebay account

May 30th, 2008 . by admin

Over the years I’ve learned more and more about how to use my eBay account to leverage an income. I got tired of going to a thankless job with thankless bosses who didn’t want to utilize my creative skills or suggestions in improving their business. My eBay account gives me ample opportunity to do this with my own product line or even as a conduit to sell others product lines. When the job won’t allow you full creative expression eBay is a great place to vent off all that excess energy in a productive way. Just because they can’t see how to use your ideas or how valuable they are doesn’t make them less valuable!
