Amazon, Ipod and free music, video, and fitness training downloads

April 26th, 2008 . by admin

Amazon.com is working on cutting into their market share, but only time will tell. So what’s your preference in music? Amazon’s strategy of selling non-restricted (no DRM) music hasn’t made major inroads; most users listen to music on an iPod or their PC, which they can just as easily do with Apple’s restricted format. Sites offering cheaper video and music download have been popping up all over the internet. With the latest, offering unlimited video download to your iPod for one flat fee. Sites such as Robert Ullrey’s podcast site have free workouts designed by exercisers. If you have an iPod Nano, you even can buy the Nike + iPod Sport Kit, which gives you a sensor to put in a specially designed Nike + shoe and a sensor to plug into the iPod Nano, which turns it into a pedometer.

Traditional Magazine Vs. Online Magazine

April 26th, 2008 . by admin

As an avid reader of magazine, I can’t accept the fact that its industry is dying. The ever growing technology of the World Wide Web has been intimidating this amusing and informative reads to last. For the last two years, many magazine companies, huge and small, already felt that they’re losing the battle over the power of free and easy to access internet magazines.

I don’t have any against in the World Wide Web as it provides so many benefits to us. But how come a basic and standard trend of our reading passion is being neglected? Now, many individuals are striving hard to revive this influential tool of information. Isn’t it better to have them both live? After all, the other half of the world still enjoys the pleasure of reading something from their hands.

Lack of space and portable buildings

April 25th, 2008 . by admin

A modern discipline called space engineering is fast gaining prominence the world over. Space engineering means the optimum use of available space. In this context the concept of designing  Portable Buildings  is getting great attention. The basic idea of portable buildings is also the maximum use of available space. Hence the design of portable buildings as space saving devices has gained much attention. In space engineering, such buildings are defined as those designed to be moved from time to time. This basically militates against the idea of a building that has permanence as its basic feature. The main feature of these buildings is the lack of any permanent location.

I took three pregnancy tests to be sure.

April 25th, 2008 . by admin

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby. We were told that it may be impossible for us to concieve and that we should think about our other options, like adoption. We never gave up trying, and when I missed my last menstrual cycle, I took three pregnancy tests to be sure I was really pregnant. When all three came back with positive results, I scheduled an appointment with my gynecologist. He examined me and confirmed that I was indeed pregnant. We are so excited. We beat the odds and made a baby.

Equity in the Home

April 24th, 2008 . by admin

I have often wondered how smart it is to keep the equity in the home. I need some mortgage advice on if it be better to take the equity that has been earned and possibly invest it elsewhere? Of course you would have to figure out if the money you have made in the house is enough to cover any fees or penalties for refinancing, would it be a good idea? I like the idea that I have made a wise investment with my property but I would like to continue to have my money work for me and continue building equity in the house.

Mini-vacation, part 10

April 24th, 2008 . by admin

I found a store employee and asked where there were some free archery ranges available. I was half expecting the man to laugh at me, but he told me of a place where there was one. “They also hold Archery Tournaments there. Nice little range.” So I got directions and we started looking for the last thing I could think of that we might need - more arrows. I was fairly sure that the bow she had was not going to be of the same draw length as mine, since I have a recurve long bow. And so we began looking for arrows.
